Mary Salmonsen is a reporter for Construction Dive, based in Washington, D.C. She is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and covered the new residential construction industry as an associate editor for Builder and Multifamily Executive magazines before joining Construction Dive in 2021. Prior to that, she was an intern at Syracuse, New York’s CNYCentral broadcast station. She enjoys reading, creative writing and playing video games in her free time.
