Cleveland-based multifamily builder, developer and manager The NRP Group is expanding its third-party construction team with the hiring of three new regional vice presidents of construction business development: Kevin Glenn in Florida, Noah Soven for the Carolinas and Matt Tryder in the Northeast.
The new vice presidents will report to Ted Kramer, executive vice president of construction. In their new roles, Glenn, Soven and Tryder will drive new business opportunities for the third-party construction division, expand its footprint and cultivate relationships. They will also be responsible for guiding projects from preconstruction to completion.
Prior to his new role at NRP Group, Glenn served as the vice president of business development at Coastal Construction Co. and Austin Commercial, both based in Tampa, Florida. He has been in the construction industry for almost 30 years and has professional relationships with a network of owners, architects, consultants and subcontractors in Central Florida, according to the news release.
“I’ve seen firsthand the challenges developers face in getting projects off the ground,” said Glenn in the release. “I’m excited to be part of a team that not only understands the industry inside and out, but also has the scale and strategic vision to drive real impact in the market.”
Soven has more than 10 years of construction experience and has been a project lead and development manager at Maitland, Florida-based Williams Co., Las Vegas-based FORE Property Development and Alpharetta, Georgia-based Ashton Woods Homes. Most recently, he oversaw business development and sales at Carpinteria, California-based Procore Technologies.
“The Carolinas are experiencing a major push to build more affordable and workforce housing, with cities increasingly partnering with private developers to meet demand,” Soven said in the release. “With NRP’s strong relationships in the region and a robust pipeline of RFPs and business development opportunities across all product types, the timing couldn’t be better to expand our third-party platform.”
Tryder has more than 22 years of experience in multifamily housing and construction throughout New England and the Northeast. His past experience includes roles as a senior construction manager at Boca Raton, Florida-based Mill Creek Residential and Houston-based Hines.
