The second and final phase of Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Altman Living’s Altis Grand Lake Willis development is open and ready for residents, according to a press release shared with Multifamily Dive.
Located in the O-Town West master-planned community in Orlando, Florida, the new section of Altis Grand Lake Willis includes 230 one- to three-bedroom units in six garden-style buildings, plus a clubhouse. It is located next to the first phase, which opened in 2023 with 329 apartment units, bringing the property’s total to 559.
Apartments range from 707 to 1,248 square feet in size and include granite countertops, double sinks in primary bathrooms, soaking tubs, walk-in glass showers, walk-in closets, in-unit laundry and private balconies.
The development is National Green Building Standard-certified, with sustainable elements including electric car charging stations, stainless steel appliances, high-efficiency water heaters and Energy Star refrigerators and dishwashers. A package delivery system and valet trash pickup are also provided for residents.
New outdoor amenities in the second phase include a saltwater heated pool, lounge seating, a water feature, a grilling area and outdoor TVs, fire pits, ping-pong tables and a community fruit tree grove. Indoors, the property offers a fitness center, a resident lounge with a bar and movie projector, a recording studio and a coffee bar. A pet park with a gated off-leash area is also located on site.
Residents will also have access to the amenities in the first phase, including a game room, entertainment kitchen, steam rooms, a business lounge, a movie theater, a dining area, a virtual gaming space, a sports simulator, an art room and a self-service auto detail facility.
The $1 billion O-Town West, developed by Orlando-based Unicorp National Developments, is a 350-acre property located along Florida’s Interstate 4. The site plan calls for more than 850 multifamily units, four commercial centers and an entertainment complex. Both Unicorp and Marriott Vacations Worldwide are headquartered in the development’s office space.
Altis Grand Lake Willis is located close to access points for the Daryl Carter Parkway and Interstate 4 and is adjacent to Vineland Pointe, a new retail center. The area’s amusement park attractions, including Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld, are all located in close proximity.
