Smooth to the touch
Nobilia’s Easytouch cabinet line combines smooth-panel drawers, curved handles and metallic accents to create a modern, elegant look, according to a press release shared with Multifamily Dive.
The cabinet surfaces are highly durable, with an anti-fingerprint finish available in eight solid colors. The collection’s vanities include Nobilia’s Xtra Ceramic countertops, which resist damage from stains and heat.
Sustainable wood-look surfaces
Wilsonart Woodgrains, a new material series by surfacing manufacturer Wilsonart, is for interior design applications in place of wood veneer. The series is available in 16 non-repeating patterns in a variety of color tones and wood species, including walnut, teak and mahogany. The sheets are available in two sizes — 5 by 12 feet and 4 by 8 feet — and made from 23% recycled material.
The material installs for one-third of the price of wood veneer, according to a press release shared with Multifamily Dive. It may be used for table tops, doors, wall panels, furniture, cabinetry and edging, according to the manufacturer’s website.
