Storage upgrade

The Bradyl Box by multifamily storage provider Bradyl Storage Solutions is an 80-cubic-foot box on stilts, designed to fit into the negative space over an apartment property’s parking spots, transforming it into storage space, according to a press release shared with Multifamily Dive.
The unit is freestanding and includes anti-tip hardware, according to the manufacturer. Its legs are adjustable to fit over all cars, most SUVs and most trucks. The storage space is secured with a lock and key, and features a gas strut-assisted door for easy opening and closing. It has a rust-resistant powder-coated finish, and is designed for assembly by onsite staff.
Building-wide broadband

Xfinity Communities’ new Connected Building package is a network infrastructure system designed to provide always-on Wi-Fi coverage across an entire multifamily property. Residents of the property can access a private, in-unit network connected to this system by downloading the Xfinity app and following the activation instructions.
The system is run through the new Multifamily Xfinity Broadband Gateway, which allows users to access high-speed internet and activate additional networks to power smart devices, according to Comcast. The gateway can utilize existing wiring and infrastructure for its operation, and includes built-in protection against cybersecurity threats.
Sealed away

The Pittsburgh Paints Co.’s Flood Easy Seal oil-based stain and sealer is designed to seal outdoor wooden surfaces with a single-coat application, reducing the labor required for maintenance, the firm says. The stain does not streak, run or lap, nor does it require any back-brushing.
The finish is available in eight ready-mixed semi-transparent colors, including natural cedar, redwood, mahogany and dark walnut. The surface is water-resistant, blocks UV rays and provides protection against moisture damage and graying effects for up to five years after the first application.
Black accents

Kitchen and bath fixture maker Kallista has released two new bath collections, both with black as their color focus, according to a press kit shared with Multifamily Dive.
The Bezel collection items, including a floor-mounted tub filler, showerhead, handles and faucets, feature a soft square profile designed to look like a square-cut gemstone. Upgrades for the handles include natural stones in three varieties — Nero Marquina, White Carrara and Guatemala Stone. Black Argile is a new matte black addition to the existing Argile series of sinks and freestanding baths.
Travertine-inspired

The Navona porcelain tile collection by Walker Zanger is made to resemble natural travertine stone, presented in a series of four designs, including gray and red tones in addition to the classic white. The collection utilizes cross cutting and vein cutting to replicate the natural patterns of the stone.
The tiles are heat-, scratch- and stain-resistant, according to the manufacturer. They are available individually, in mosaic patterns or in 60-by-120-inch slabs.
