In the face of high leasing demand ahead of a December 2024 opening, Baltimore, Maryland-based real estate developer The Cordish Cos. and the Texas Rangers baseball team are now leasing for their multifamily joint venture, One Rangers Way, well ahead of schedule.
One Rangers Way, currently under construction by Arlington, Virginia-based contractor CBG Building Co., is located in the heart of Arlington, Texas’s Entertainment District, directly adjacent to Choctaw Stadium, and within walking distance of Texas Live!, Globe Life Field, and AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys football team.
“One Rangers Way will bring an upscale residential component to an area that is already widely known as one of the fastest-growing sports and entertainment destinations in the country,” said Rob Matwick, executive vice president of business operations for the Texas Rangers, in a press release shared with Multifamily Dive.
While expected move-ins are more than a year away, the leasing team has stated they are seeing excitement from interested renters, and are already pre-leasing units. The unit mix includes studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments and one- and two-bedroom penthouse units with high-end finishes and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Designed to meet National Green Building Standard certification requirements, the building will consist of a mix of angular volumes in white brick, glass and chrome, a contrast against the traditional exterior of Choctaw Stadium next door. A cantilevered section on a pair of angled supports creates a shaded paseo on the far side of the building. A large Texas Rangers sign will be located on the roof.
The property will offer 43,000 square feet of residential amenities and services, including:

- A demonstration and entertainment kitchen.
- A private event room and a variety of coworking spaces.
- A fitness center.
- A game lounge with billiards and ping-pong tables.

- A curated art collection based around baseball and the Texas Rangers.
Located 28 miles from downtown Dallas, the Arlington Entertainment District also includes the Choctaw Stadium sports venue, the Loews Arlington Hotel & Convention Center, the upcoming National Medal of Honor Museum and the Richard Greene & Dr. Robert Cluck Linear Parks. The One Rangers Way leasing center, located inside Spark Coworking at Choctaw Stadium, will showcase finish options for the units and host meet-and-greets with team members.
