Atlanta-based multifamily developer and operator Wood Partners broke ground in September on a new luxury rental community, Alta Amberglen, located west of Portland in Hillsboro, Oregon.
The property will include 326 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as townhome options. Unit designs will include kitchens with a choice of two color palettes, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, wide-plank flooring and in-unit laundry.
Alta Amberglen is located on 18 acres that encompass a pocket park, a preserved wooded area and a natural stream. Common-area amenities will include a fitness center and yoga studio, multiple on-site co-working spaces, a game room with a golf simulator and a podcast studio.
The development is within a 20-minute drive of downtown Portland, with a TriMet Lightrail System station close by and shopping, dining and entertainment available within 1 mile of the property.
“Wood Partners is excited to take the next step in expanding our footprint within the Pacific Northwest with the groundbreaking of our newest property in the Portland metro area,” said Michael Nagy, managing director for Wood Partners, in a press release. Alta Amberglen marks the fifth metro Portland development project for the Atlanta-based firm, which has also has developed four properties in Seattle.
Pre-leasing for Alta Amberglen will begin in late 2023, and the building is set to open in 2024. It will be managed by Wood Partners subsidiary Wood Residential
